Clothing Exchange

I just dropped a bunch of clothes off at the Stake center for the Clothing Exchange.  WoW!  They were so efficient!  It is pull through drop off, where people come to your vehicle and load them up on carts and take them in for you.  It took me all of 45 seconds to drop it off.  Today is the last day for drop off.  (Until 7pm)
TOMORROW is the Exchange day!  Bring your garbage bags or clothes hampers!  10am-2pm at the stake center!
587 S. Saratoga Rd.
Spread the word to your neighbors!  It is open to the whole community!

Furniture!

Our sweet neighbor Amy Woodhouse is moving this week.  She asked if anyone in the ward would like some of her furniture.  She has a black dinning table and chairs, a three piece entertainment center, two white dressers, and a white metal bunk bed (double on bottom/twin on top).  She said she is giving these things away, but would like them gone before this weekend.  Her cell number is 208-312-2780 Leave a message if she doesn't answer.

I am looking for some empty, glass baby food jars for a craft at our family reunion this summer.  I need about 20.  If any mom's out there don't mind saving them for me that would be great!  Just call me and I will be happy to pick them up.
Thanks,

Cookbooks

Hi Sisters,

It has been decided that it would be easier for us to begin collecting money for the ward cookbooks. We will start this Sunday.

During RS, YW and Primary look for a Manila envelope. On the outside will be a list of those who have pre-ordered, and the amount they owe. Once you pay, please mark the appropriate columns.

The cost of the cookbooks is $9.50 and hopefully they will be here before the upcoming dinner/auction on May 6th!

Please use a tithing envelope, mark in the OTHER space at the bottom, with “cookbook” . You can give the envelope to a member of the bishopric, or put it in the manila envelope, and we will hand them to the Bishop.

If you didn’t pre-order, you can still get your cookbook, just fill in the spaces. We will have around 75 extra books that we need to sell. If you decide that you would like more than you ordered, PLEASE fill out another line and we will make sure you get the books.

The cookbooks would make great gifts, so if you know someone else that would like one, let them know about them, PLEASE!

Thank you to ALL the sisters who contributed recipes for this project! We REALLY APPRECIATE it!! There are some great recipes being shared. We did combine some that that were the same or very similar, and had to delete a few, but we feel you will be pleased with the end result.

Thank you everyone!!

Bean Bag Chair

I'm selling an over-sized beanbag chair if anyone is interested. We bought two of these monsters last year not realizing how really gigantic they really are. I was using it in the loft area of my house for the kids to sit on as they read, but we just got new bookshelves and now it doesn't really fit anymore. So I've decided to get something smaller.
It's a dark navy blue corduroy and has hardly been used as my kids mostly read in their bedrooms. I forget what it's filled with but it's not Styrofoam pellets. It's something that doesn't ever need to be refilled and it doesn't get compressed at all. It is a very comfy chair and would work great in a basement movie room or play room.
All of my kids can comfortably fit on it and I can also sit on it with a kid on each side. I wish we could keep it but we just don't have the space. I paid $150 dollars for it one year ago. I will take $50 for it or your best offer. I thought I'd advertise it here first before I list it on KSL Classifieds. E-mail me  at: cara_lockard@hotmail.com or call me if you're interested!
