Trunk-or-Treat

I guess I will take it upon myself to remind everyone of the upcoming trunk-or-treat.

When: Friday, Oct. 30th

Time: 6:30 pm

Where: The church parking lot

* Prizes for the best decorated vehicle.

* Costume contest for all ages. (No masks, please.)

* Enjoy hot chocolate and donut holes.

* Remember to bring lots of candy for the trunk-or-treaters.

It's sure to be a fun time. Hope to see everyone there!

Carpet Cleaner

Craft Night

Hey there ladies,
We are doing a craft night this week. Wed. Oct. 14th 7pm at Karen Brothersen's house
Shari has come up with an adorable Halloween block that says, "Boo". If you are interested in doing the craft, they are amazingly $2 each. Let Shari know by Tuesday if you would like to make it. (They would also make good gifts!)

Canning Apples

Hey Ladies,
I am going to do some apple canning on Friday and Saturday. I was wondering if I could borrow Jar grabber (to pick up the hot jars), a Lid lifter (has a magnet to pick the lids out of the boiling water where you sterilize them), or an apple-peeler-slicer. As you can tell, I am a canning novice!
