Police Dept. Happenings

Thurs. Feb. 11th is the Police Department Open House from 10am to noon.
It is located at 1307 N. Commerce Dr. Suite 120. Come check out the new police department and take a tour.

The Victim Advocate department is also currently looking for volunteers. They have a variety of opportunities from, filling out paperwork, consulting with Victims, advertising, attending court hearings, and answering phones. No experience is necessary. Have you ever wanted to jump into a frozen lake?
Sure you have!!!
The Polar Plunge is February 20th. at the Pelican Marina.
The ice was 17" thick at the last check. A hole in going to be cut for access into the cold water.
There is going to be food, fun, music, and best of all it benefits a great cause.
It costs $25.00 to "plunge"
Registration begins at 9:00 am. the plunge begins at 10:00am
All the proceeds go to the Special Olympics.
