Police Dept. Happenings

OPEN HOUSE:
Thurs. Feb. 11th is the Police Department Open House from 10am to noon.
It is located at 1307 N. Commerce Dr. Suite 120. Come check out the new police department and take a tour.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:
The Victim Advocate department is also currently looking for volunteers. They have a variety of opportunities from, filling out paperwork, consulting with Victims, advertising, attending court hearings, and answering phones. No experience is necessary. FUNDRAISER:
Have you ever wanted to jump into a frozen lake?
Sure you have!!!
The Polar Plunge is February 20th. at the Pelican Marina.
The ice was 17" thick at the last check. A hole in going to be cut for access into the cold water.
There is going to be food, fun, music, and best of all it benefits a great cause.
It costs $25.00 to "plunge"
Registration begins at 9:00 am. the plunge begins at 10:00am
All the proceeds go to the Special Olympics.
